As long as you are giving them grit, and cutting the pieces ( of whatever you give them) up small, you can start at a week or 2.

I got sidetracked to your build thread and enjoyed the whooooole thing. Did you ever get you your Ace of spades brooder built?

Anyone have geese? We ordered a pair with our ducks and I am starting to freak out and think I should cancel them. We've never had waterfowl and I'm worried the geese are going to be overkill in our backyard (3/4 acre fenced area for poultry to share).

Super huge Congrats Silly & Fuzzy! Well deserved, Fuzzy, and wow, 5??? That is amazing really.

Good Mornin y'all. These few days of nice weather, heavenly. So I suppose I can stay living in Michigan I guess.

Here's the beginning of my wattle fence. The rotten winter weather + the ash borer destruction = perfect source of materials.

Has anyone grown the Heirloom Rainbow Tomato? They are taking for. ev. er. to germinate. Unlike the Rutgers or Cherry Toms, those germinated in like 24h, I swear. Have had lots of damping off deaths with the toms, so I sure hope that the var. Rainbow takes off. But the peppers are going strong.

Where do you find a schedule for classes to become NPIP certified from Michigan State? I might make a short down and back trip to become certified, if my work schedule allows it this year.
