Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Raz- would it do any good to have us show up at your "hearing", with signs?
One thing that has held true is that if there are witnesses in the gallery, the judge behaves in a polite manner. The times that no other people were present is when he shows his bias and animosity.

The last transcript I got clearly demonstrates how he interrupts and does not allow the defendant (me) to speak. The mere fact that I needed his "permission" to get a copy of the transcript indicates that there are some shenanigans taking place. And that transcript is not a certified copy as indicated by the court reporter.

Another super added to a hive.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to record future hearings.

Copied from the MSFC...

The first meeting of the Urban Livestock Workgroup has been scheduled, and will occur on September 16th. This Workgroup includes Senator Joe Hune (R), Chair of the Senate Agriculture Committee, as well as Senator Rebecca Warren (D), so the intended outcome of this Workgroup could be the introduction of legislation in Michigan to both allow and regulate livestock in urban areas. That is just a guess, but I think we should take this effort very seriously. The MSFC has established a discussion forum where MSFC members can brainstorm and discuss different options, which can then be taken to the Workgroup. If these issues matter to you, I hope you'll join the discussion there.http://www.michigansmallfarmforum.com/index.php?/forum/152-2014-2015-urban-livestock-workgroup/

Don't let the word "urban" scare you off. MSFC has a seat at the table to help all of us that got shafted by the GAAMP changes in April. Still it could be a long road ahead of us. Opposing forces like the MML and MFB also are on the committee.
