Birds for sale at Fowl Fest usually sell quick. I'd advise if you are interested in buying that you be there as soon as it opens.

A little late in the year, but I am getting some poults from Porter's Rare Heritage Turkeys. Since the minimum order is 15, I'll be selling at least 10. But it will be a head start on turkeys next spring.

If anyone in the UP wants poults, let me know. I'll be putting the extras on craigslist once they arrive.

Calicos? Sweetwater? Mine are doing great and I think I have a Tom and Hen! If so I'm letting the Hen have her's naturally.

Porter's has included a slip in the box that says what I am getting. I went with an assortment, so it could be anything that Porter's raises!

My brain is stuck in neutral again. I can't decide what style goat house to build for the buck pen. The girls have a standard shed-style on tow skids that has worked well for 3-4 full size togs. Maybe that again. Oh, I need two, or three, of me...

On the plus side it's supposed to be beautiful weather next week. So plan accordingly.

I think I need to build some beehives that appear to be other things and call them yard art.
