Pretty cool. Got to see two very awesome nature scenes in less than 24 hours.
Yesterday before sunset we had rain. As it moved east, it cleared in the west as the sun was setting, yet still raining. figured if looked to the east, would see a rainbow. I wasn't disappointed. In fact been trying to remember if I've ever seen a FULL rainbow vs. just one side. These pics don't do the colors justice ...& can actually see the beginnings of a double rainbow in the upper right of the one.

Then, this morn I had to drive someone to the airport. I was the passenger on the way there, looked out the window to the east & noted what looked like a lunar eclipse in progress. Googled on phone, & sure enough that's what was going on. Due to the timing of driving home from the airport I started heading west just as the full eclipse hit..so I was able to enjoy it for almost 30 miles looking thru my front windshield. Was still very pretty when I got home...& away from city lights.

Cool stuff.

I saw the rain through the sun yesterday too, but no rainbow. I have a video of it but tough to see.
It was so overcast on this side of town no eclipse for me. Boo.

yep that eclipse was pretty cool! One of the nice things about living in the country!

So, I saw a craig's list add that was 2 months old,.. took a chance it was still available. I know these things are not top of the line. they're a reproduction that was a crap shoot if it worked at all.. but it was brand new(well it's 50 yrs old)..... and perfect condition... moved smoothly......still had the tag.... and I talked her down to 65$.....so even if it only ends up being decoration I'm loving it! a Daneker Spinning wheel!
The only thing missing is the drive string, but that's an easy replace.

Third nature thingy..this wind. And I am NOT liking this one....

Didn't hunt last night cuz we needed to treat the birds with the ivermectin. And, of course, a nice buck & 3 does show up...I would have had succes.

So, knew I wouldn't sit tonight cuz I HATE wind...even though I'm protected in the blind...just don't like the noise, etc (apparently I was traumatized at 3 years old when a huge elm tree fell .. That's my mom's theory as to why I hate wind...but, I digress).

Figured I'd go sit tomorrow morning...love being out there in the morn. Well, the new 6'x6' pop up DH put up for me looked like this a bit ago...

Went out to see if I could re-stake it so it wouldn't rip or anything & it completely collapsed me...so instead of hunting in the morning I'll be putting it back up & BETTER securing it!

Then I'll empty & scrub the coop...and , hopefully get to enjoy a relaxing, evening hunt!

No rainbows down here, awesome pics!!..... but I did get to see the first half of the eclipse this morning, FINALLY one with during clear skies here, it was great!
