Happy New Year to all of my critter friends! Home from Boston, Ma. and back into the swing of busting up frozen water for goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and turkeys. Can't catch up but did see a few smokers are giving up that. I know the feeling but at $5 a pack these days just think of the cash saved. I think the worst part was the smell after smoking - on my fingers and in my clothes. I think it's been 25 years, or so, for me. Good luck! Stacy, oh no. Hitting a deer is no good. Double check with your insurance. When I hit a deer years ago, wasn't gonna go thru insurance to get car fixed. Luckily I called my agent...cuz no deductible (or premium increase) when damage is caused by a deer.

And here I thought the worst I had to deal with was mistiming my drive into Clinton that the local popo was turning around and could ride my rear end through Clinton last night at about 3:30. No lights for me, but when I got home I poked thru the glove box. No current up to date insurance statement there. Fast forward to this morning to where I'm going through stuff and found it here in the house. no riding dirty for me until the end of May.

precious kitty, man were you lucky. A deer got me last year and my insurance went way up. My ins. guy didn't even care when I complained. Time to shop around.
Yeah I miss Janet but she was a real issue, the flock has calmed right down without her.

Awesome news: Miss Sassafrass went after scratch I threw in the run today. She is so happy Janet is not attacking her. She is running with the flock.
