Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I went to collect eggs at noontime and 3 of my hens are starting to molt quite a bit. I noticed it last week, but wow, what a difference a day makes. They look pitiful and it's just beginning.

I decided to breed my doe a little later in the fall for a later spring kidding since it was so cold last year. I dry her up in sept and bred in late November/December. She is due near the end of April. By the sounds of her breathing now, I'm afraid we may have another full house! The new doe I got was born in October 2014, but she has some growing to do before I breed her, if I even do this year,

that stinks, no eggs for winter and no a molt.....a lot of people have tried the feather fixer, new I think by pureena?? might help
 
Anyone going to any events that the Michigan Bird and Game Breeders Association is putting on?

i plan on going to them and i know a bunch of people that are as well...are you going...im making a shirt that will be bright lime green and its going to say birdman on it...so you should have no problem finding me....lol....

anyways figured i would post a pic to show people what eggs look like since their not laying for some people.....

also got rid of a red golden pair today...
and also got some sand dropped off and been hauling it in the back with five gallon buckets...not to fun


going into the incubator really soon....going to candle them tonight
