Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Wow, Chickenstock is tomorrow. It's not too late to make the trip...members that have been and those who have not...last chance. I decided to bring some small jars of my Maple Syrup to sell, or barter, like I've done before, and a couple bottles of my Cherry Wine for those that partake to enjoy (during the meal).

Again. Chickenstock is tomorrow - see you there?

Quote: Oh I don't miss those days at all. In my younger days, we had horses and it usually took around 300 bales a year to feed them. Hot, dusty, dirty, sneezy work! Glad you've got it done.

Is anyone here have local eggs to sell? Shipped eggs not giving me much on hatch rate. Thought local ones would be better.

Does anyone have a sure-fire way to cure vent gleet(pasty butt)? I'm trying everything, and it's a little better but won't go away completely on one of the hens.
Not sure vent gleet and pasty butt are the same thing....but sorry don't know much about vent gleet.

I am doing what @Sally Sunshine said to do. Epsom salt water. I don't remember link.
