Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Saturday I sold fourteen birds, including seven cockerels. Wonderful! May they do great in their new homes, and it's much more peaceful here! 'Only' forty-eight chickens left, how did that happen? I do still have a trio of Belgian d'Uccle pullets that could leave, cute, but too many. Still, a manageable group for winter. Yes, thirty-five would be better... Mary

How much do you sell the birds for?

Hi everyone. I'm brand new and cannot wait to get my first coop up and running this spring! I am a bit nervous though as I've never raised chickens before. Do you all have any advice or would recommend a place I could go to learn more? I'm in the metro Detroit area.

You're in the right place....Welcome to BYC!
There's different forums for help and advise for hatching and raising chicks to building coops and runs to.......just about everything.
Brew up a big pot of coffee, go here and pick a subject, and start reading :D
