Thanks for the pic! How many holes does it have? Just the 3 or are there more on the other side?

Just the 3 holes. They're 3" 45 degree pvc pipe. I don't have any issues with them fighting over who gets to eat. I have it in my coop pushed under their poop deck (shelf under their roost covered in sand makes for a cleaner coop) against the wall.

i didnt make it to the bird show last weekend either.
i dont know of where you could locate the quail, but there are quite a few groups/pages that you could look up on Facebook & ask on there.

I'm looking to buy around 8 fertilized eggs for my broody hen to hatch. I'm in The northern Macomb County area. Not real particular on breeds. I currently have buff orphingtons and BLS. I'd like to get some eggs as soon a possible. Please let me know if you can help! Thank you!

Shelby Township, you can get as many as you want. We get 100 or so eggs a day.

Does anyone have a duck hen for sale? I hatched some chicken eggs from a friend, and a duck egg from her ducks got in there. She didn't want him, so guess I'll be keeping him lol.
I really want to get my duck a duck friend. Preferably a Cayuga. He's five months old.'

has anyone seen a swollen sagging abdomen on a hen before? it kinda looks like a bubble gut hanging below the vent area. feels smooth (not gritty or lumpy) and mooshy. Any ideas?

It sounds like ascites, which is fluid buildup in the abdomen. Anything that causes inflammation in the abdomen - eg internal laying, egg yolk peritonitis, tumors - can cause ascites.
