Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

We had a rabid raccoon that had to be taken care of. Scary. Did not know there are two different kinds of rabies. Furious and dumb. We had the dumb one. Glad it's taken care of. Hate to think of what could happen with the 3 dogs!

This morning I took nine cockerels to the auction, a sad moment, but too many boys just aren't a good thing as they mature in the flock! I'm down to fifty birds, including seven little chicks; okay for now, but more will leave before winter! There were MANY cockerels there, many older hens, and some interesting other birds. NONE of them 'followed me home'!!! Mary

I should hope NOT! ;) Good for you.
Kinda wish we had an auction around here, easier tho just to eat the 8 I have to cull.

Raz, so you can have your chickens there? Wonderful! Mary
I can have my chickens anywhere. ;)

Road to my new house.
