Yeah, watched a lot of the animal rescue videos and how people were riding out the storms with their animals. There was one family that put gate panels in their brick home so that they could keep their horses safe from Irma. almost think I could do that in my apartment if I could get horses down the half stairway. Not sure I would get my deposit back after that however. We are a quiet group! I've been working, and watching the hurricane coverage, and NEVER going to live where they occur! Only visiting, in good weather.
My last group of broody raised chicks are 6.5 weeks of age, and I'll have an EE bantam boy, a Belgian d'Uccles boy(s), and a very cute d'Uccle/ EE bantam cockerel. Anyone? MaryView attachment 1136628
Sorry, I'm busy most of the weekend, and on sunday the 3 weeks are up, so I might just start introducing the new chicks to the big girls. I let them have a little outside time yesterday in the old coop. We've lost a lot of the old people. That's sad because we really did chat a lot and got to know each other pretty well.
Maybe everyone left because I asked for help in moving.
So anyone want to help this weekend?![]()
