Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I took my white cock bird to work to have help trimming his spurs, and in the much better light there, say a few. They were really tiny, maybe just hatched? Only saw them on his white feathers. Mary
Get a head light, check after dark, parting feathers down to skin.

Pullet #3 laid egg #2 today!! 4 more to go.

My broody bantam hen just hatched 3 out of 3 eggs yesterday/today. I've been so busy I haven't been paying attention I knew it was getting close to hatch time but I didn't mark it on the calender. Hubby just called to tell me there's 3 chicks in the coop w Boots. Not sure what I'm going to do with them really didn't need more I'm trying to down size my flocks before winter.
Last time I separated her in a kennel with her chicks but I think I'm just going to let her and nature do it's thing this time. She was and is good at putting the rooster (dad) in his place.
I'll post pictures later when I get home and can take a few.

Was in and out of coop a dozen times this morning,
