Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I have a pair of turkeys, they have interacted with wild turkeys in the past month. My Tom is great and has been super healthy but today out of the blue he’s stumbling, trouble standing, clear runny nose, watery poop. No swelling or wheezing or discoloration on his head. There is no avian anything around here and I’m not sure what to do. I haven’t seen something like this happen so quick. Anyone know who I should contact or what I should do? I have birds all over, most free range. Bio security nightmare if he has something contagious.
OyVey, that stinks! Could be anything. Do you have him isolated now?
County extension office? You're in Mackinaw City?

@taprock
Could he have overly aggressive in his courtship/mating dance?
Mine did that a few months ago. After dancing and mating he was wiped out and limping for a week or so. He is fine now and more mellow towards the hen.

Still a good idea to call Dr. Fulton.

Meet the newest member of the flock. A rescue pup that came to me from one of our BYC friends.
I may have to bring him to CS18.

New coop is wrapped. It will be cozy and draft-free.
I'll start the exterior walls next.
Just taking a break for lunch and maybe play with the puppy. ;)
