Chicken stock 2019 at Raz's place!

HaHa I just came on to ask if we are going to do Chickenstock this year. I need to reserve the pavilion first Monday in January. Let's hear a vote!

I'd love to meet at Raz's, but might be a bit too much, having all us fruitcakes at once

I'd be fine with that. We can use the garage as a pavilion. I have a few picnic tables but I can steal (or build) more. I have lots of chairs. A grill, a fire-pit, and lots of room. You can even swim in Lake Huron and enjoy the sandy beach.

I like the pavilion, but if you are serious, Randy, that would be fun too!
To be crude, how about bathroom facilities? Portapotty?
What if it rains?
I'm not being difficult, just wondering.
Your place looks really nice!!!

Gees, all you old people talking about your aches and pains :old

I had my first PT for my knee today. Relieved a bit of pain and moved some to other areas. Twice a week for 4 weeks before I can get an MRI approved. Gotta love how the insurance company dictates medical treatment instead of allowing the doctor the prescribe treatment. :he

Anywho...let's talk chickens. I'm looking for lavender orps.
Aches and Pains is good for Business. And Business is good!!

Listen to your Personal Torturer Raz and do your home exercises and stretches like how they told you to.

And let me know if you come across some Lavender Orp Pullets. That's the ones we want this spring and almost got them Labor Day but we were on our way to a wedding and they were all sold by the time we got back.

Last week Thursday Mom found a bunch of blood all over the nest boxes. couldn't figure out where it came from, and didn't see anything oveous with the girls in the short time I had there that morning before I needed to report into work. Came back after work while the girls were all up on the roost and looked them over, finally found where it was from.

What I think happened was that batch of BSL I put leg bands on, and her leg there got bigger than what the expanding leg band wanted to go, or it somehow cut into her leg and irritated the heck out of it. was a heck of a deal getting that band out of the wound and off of her. cleaned it up and have been doing epsom salt baths with her and some wound treatment stuff. seems to be clearing up. also went through and removed the leg bands on the rest of those girls. some of them were getting a little tight on the rest of them.
