Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

The pup and I are both OK. He was wimpering and limping on his right hid leg. That lasted for all of about 30 seconds until he saw a squirrel and took off after it. He was neutered on Friday so maybe his sutures were aggravated when I fell on him. He is fine now. No lasting harm done. Except for my sore hip and shoulder.

Crazy pup! Glad you're both ok!

I can't complain about snow on my house too much, we have a 12/12 pitch on the house and garage, not much sticks to it and I sure as heck am NOT going up there!

It warmed up some today. So now I have a mix of snow, ice, and mud.
I came home from work to no power. At least it was still light out. Checked the chickens and they were out of water. I felt bad. I filled 3 regular founts and took care of them.

The hens are getting cabin fever. They want to come outside but I don't have the run complete yet. I might just do some temporary netting until I can get the posts set and a proper fence up.

With bad knees, I have always had to 'bend and brace' against crazy galloping dogs....mine's too old to do that much anymore. He's actually started to learn to avoid the icy spots, mostly.
Lots of those these days with the warmer days and still frozen ground and nights, big ice patches everywhere.

Mom liked the idea of the Yak Tracks, but they was a size too small. Took them back to return them, and they haven't gotten anymore in yet. Might just have to try say Cabela's in Dundee sometime soon and I'm thinking that they might have a little more selection.
