Wow, Raz! glad to hear that nobody blew off to Kansas.
Yesterday was a very wicked weather day up here, the wind was out of the North at sustained 35 to 45 miles an hour, with gusts over 60. At times my whole back yard look like a big snow tornado. Everything here that's not tied down is frozen down though, so we weathered it okay.
After the wind picked up I walked out to the chicken coop to shut the pop door, and when I turned to go back to the house my footprints were already blown full of snow. Hope winter doesn't last too much longer.
The Mackinac Bridge was closed for most of the day due to a combination of wind and falling ice, somebody was driving across and their windshield was smashed by ice falling from the upper cables. Fortunately they were alone in the car and no one was hurt.
