Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I saw my first rabbit in 2 years a week or so ago, haven't seen any others tho.
Heard coyotes yipping last night, don't hear that often....maybe cause I'm not usually night owl.

Thinks I heard a peep in the bator!
Day 20.
Chicks soon!

3 weeks ago Big Mary Marans laid a really funky egg,
and nothing since, until yesterday she laid this 'normal' one:

I'll probably pick up a live trap when I get paid this week. I already have one for the chipmunks. My first priority will be restocking the animal feed. I just used the last of the layer food this morning.

This working 2 jobs has taken a toll. I have a pinched nerve(s) in my neck that is causing severe pain. Got a shot and prescription on Monday. Still I'm practically non-functional. Never had this level of pain before. :hit

Too much lifting?
Neck pain can be paralyzing.
Hot showers and stretching can help.
Massage and/or chiropractor.
Hang in there.

Let's get the conversation started for Chickenstock! I put up posters at FF&H and TSC in Charlotte. Will post soon at the other TSC when I get out. Hope we have a good turn out. It's always so fun to meet new folks and see old friends.

I'm trying to get people! I did get the poster from Silly and gave it to a few people on FB that are in various farm pages. I always ask the people that used to be on here with us that drifted but they never seem to make it back. That one last year when OPA was there and we had the banner was a great (big) event. Lots for sale, lots of people, lots of fun. Even so the smaller crowd is just as fun.

Hey everyone! It's been a while and I've got some fencing I'd love to give to one of you lucky people!
Someone gave it to me for a project and I never used it, so now it should go to someone who can.
I'm in Iosco twp in Livingston County, send me a PM if you're interested and we'll get it figured out.

Could be, there is a lot of lifting there. Also, pushing and pulling pallets of feed and other bagged commodities like salt and stuff.
I've had a bad back from way back when. This time it really went out. I'm getting better though. A shot of muscle relaxer and a script for the pill-form. The chiropractor is saying to get an MRI of my neck for possible treatment.

I did feel well enough today to make a roosting rack out of scrap wood that I've brought home from work.
