Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

After some excruciating cold-calls to vets(I don't have a regular vet) I finally found one who will come here for canine euthanasia. I've heard good things about this woman over the years. The old pup will finally be relieved of his suffering without having to go in the van to a strange clinic filled with judgmental people.
Huge relief, yet bittersweet.

Sorry to hear that. But the suffering, I've been there with some pups. One was 18 and basically grew up with my 3 kids.

Got a lot to do. Gonna be down for a month, or more. Probably hire some help I guess. Getting old has it's drawbacks. Start rebuilding the pig house tomorrow so they have a good winter. Now that all the baby goats are sold I'll have to clean those pens...that's young people work, lol. Well see ya'll later. Might be Chickenstock before I post again. Just kidding.

I hear ya there, Brother
I spent the day loading in firewood. Did a lot but it doesn't look like much once it is stacked. 2 loads of red oak that needs to season, and 1 load of dry ash that is ready to burn. Then the rain started and that was the end of my day of chores.
