Hi John!
Things don't look good for a June meet up. I haven't reserved the pavilion
The hens had two days of being free ranged. Very happy chickens. Had patches of grass to peck at. Now, back to lock down. Rain and snow today.

Chickens and ducks are free-ranging today. They made a beeline to the front porch. There and under the big pine are their favourite places to hang. Both provide good cover from the rain that is currently falling, Supposed to turn to a heavy snow later today.

Took a trip around the property earlier. I found a dead 4-point that was barely scavenged. No tracks in the snow around the carcass. That tells me that scavengers and predators are scarce. Makes it easier to let the chickens free range for the time being.

Still waiting for this rain to turn to snow.

It was snaining here. Or rowing. Now it's just dripping off the trees. It sounds pretty, but it's a grey day.
