Hops makes a nice ornamental arbor plant, the flowers are very interesting looking.

They will climb any trellis or support system you can give them.

Visited a hops farm near here a couple years ago, the trellis was key and huge!
Harvesting was very time sensitive.

Same here. I can't leave well enough alone. Always have to tinker around with redesigns.

Luckily I do most my redesigns in my mind or on paper/cadd,
so I don't have to do any rebuilding(field design).

I used to work with someone who now grows hops. They need a LOT of water, they said. And the plants can get very heavy, so the support has to be robust. With all the craft breweries, they're quite the cash crop.

Americans are walking around like raisins and forgot how plump it was being a grape.

@Dreamzchaser I LOVE this! The image of a shriveled raisin, versus a full juicy grape is very appropriate.

I do most of my changes in my mind. Then I take that idea to the material at hand. I guess you could call it Chaotic Engineering. No plan...just make it work.
