Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Well, my lovelies, I will not be around all day tomorrow due to getting up early and head east to Ann Arbor. Scared, yes. Happy, Yes. Why, Because I get to eat at a nice restaurant, lol
Have good night and will see if I am not too tired to get on the computer tomorrow.

First thunderstorm of the new year! Love it! Casey Dog is not pleased, he's got that great sound phobia, so he's staying close and looks worried. I'm not playing outside during the lightning either.
Yesterday i did get those blackberries out of the back perrenial bed, and was wiped out! Another strange small Easter dinner, three of us, but ham and goodies anyway.
Looking forward to much better later!
It's also time to move plants, like the lilacs and rugosa roses. Later, after the rains this week.

Was a great weekend. Daughter and I took the dogs for a nice walk on the river walk on Saturday. Was fun pushing my one dog in a stroller. She has a heart murmur, so trying to keep her safe. Fancy seems to enjoy it. Always loved going on walks. Sunday, had a nice brunch with my two daughters and their families. Two sons didn't come. One has a baby, so keeping him safe. The other with compromised lung, so he didn't join us Hopefully, soon we'll all be vaccinated and can all get together. Miss our get together's.
Love thunder storms. My two papillons not so much.
Pulled the camper out of the barn. Can't wait for our first trip. Just have to clean and stock the camper.
Have a good day!!

I think I'll take the UTV to the small lake and see how high the water is.
Woke up early to a loud clap of thunder. Heard a light rain falling but it didn't amount to much. Didn't even register in the rain gauges. Went back to the landing area of the little lake. The 2 swamps along the way are bone dry. If we don't get rain soon there won't be any frogs or toads this season. We already had a fire on the south side of the lake. Some 300 acres were burned. I hate to see a fire on my side of the lake. There is far too much deadfall and dry brush on the ground. I picked up 10 empty beer cans that were left on the ground. It's usually the locals that toss them. :rant But I'll take the dollar.

Ok, I'm getting better at this touch pad stuff. What is a real PITA is that I was just at the store this morning! No "low battery" alert from the dang mouse, noooo! That would have been too helpful! :gig

My mouse batteries died. It takes AA and all we have are AAA!:barnie:barnie

I am using the touch pad for the first time. Wow, is this cumbersome when you don't know what the bleep you're doing.
Wad up a small piece of aluminum foil to fill the space on the negative side of the AAA. Both AA and AAA are 1.5 volts. Temporary fix but usually works.
