Hey lovelies,
It has been a ride since yesterday. But I think you guys will like the progress. Yesterday was so hot and today, argh, even worst. But anyways, some got done in the future coop. I did not had time to get the pictures of the girls and when I came back in at 9pm, they were already tucked in and lights were off. I had to give them a little treat before they went to bed. So turned lights on and gave them some oats. They all came running to the border and kind of begged me to pick them up one by one for some mami (like momma but in Spanish) love. The X had stayed here and in the afternoons he has helped a lot. The legs were turning to the side, so he stabilized them. I used a 3 ton jack that I have to lift it up while he fortified the legs with 2x4's. But today, I took measurements and marked the panels then cut them with the saw. But they were too heavy for me to hold them up and screw them also. He did that while I held them in place. But before anymore went up, I painted the inside of the frames with a barn paint in white. Just one coat until it is all finished. Then I will paint it all again. I finished the hardware cloth but it is uneven in the corners and the last one I bought was shorter. Have to figure out what to do. Can anyone tell me a better way to mesh them together? The one by one is too time consuming and my hands are all scratched. There are no windows nor doors yet but I need to finish the walls so we can move to the roof before rains decides to visit again. X will work also on putting some block and legs in the center to make sure it holds everything I want to put in there. Tomorrow have to go get a new blade for the saw and 4x4 and 2x4 for the run. I think I am short one for the roof too. Anyways, here are some pictures for now.
Love ya all and have a good night.
