Last summer, DH got a 330 gallon water container from one of the owners at work. (He bought one, and got one for free. Traded it to DH for 2 dozen eggs.) It's by the "uphill" garden now; beyond reach of hose. We plan to fill it by hauling totes of water out there and using a drill pump to get the water up into the container. Slow, but then it's there, and I can water that garden when I need to.

A catchment system off the roof of the pole barn and green house roofs would be nice...

DH has a vested interest in doing this: the hot peppers and tomatoes are up there. Salsa!

They make great watchdogs, scream bloody murder when anyone/thing comes around including in the middle of the night. And early in the morning.

My neighbor had some for a while, loved it because they would come over and hang out for the day then go home at dinnertime.

Where did you go?
Hows the chicks and ducks?
Yay! Glad you're back. Where'd you go?

We just got a teeeensy bit of rain. Still need to water everything.
Glad to see you’re back @riss. Did you get your chicks? How are your ducks?
Hi everyone! I went to Los Angeles to get a feel of what it's like down there cause I want to go there for music! Plus I needed a break from everything.

Ducks are still doing great, they still think I'm a monster soooo the usual.

Haven't gotten my chicks yet. It'll probably be sometime in June fingers crossed. Got to save up some money since I spent it all in Cali 🤭

Oh yes and the rabbits are quite "teenagers" so they been keeping me busy
