Chickenstock without chickens. What are we going to chase??? I signed up, but not sure what I'm bringing. I also signed up Krisrose, and she usually brings the drinks. I'll look at the list and decide what to bring...

I have no clue where can we find potatoes sacks but we can do a race in them. You guys are the farmers,lol

Maybe we can come up with some games and just enjoy each other's company. I am excited. I am bringing chickens. Chicken coasters,lol

I feel like if I was back in PR. UIt is so extremely hot here. Went up to 80. House with ac on all day and it is still 71. Sweating my hair out! 2 showers and probably another one soon. All chickens were gasping already. I bet they want winter to come back just like I do. Tomorrow will put ice out for them. They had a piece of frozen watermelon I had frozen from last year. Means that I need to get on the Walmart app and order some fruits to freeze for them. Here are the pictures from this morning when Pitbull was waiting on his girls to lay.



Last Saturday neighbor came and tilled the area for the garden. So excited. He is coming back this weekend to do it again before I can plant anything.



I have nothing to plant but I researched on a gardening book about companion plants and drew a plan,lol

I did planted some chicken seeds and got a chicken out if it,

Yeap! It was a Wyndotte seed,

OK, Just one more question..... Why?? Just Why??? A perfect pan full of water and they do this!!!

That chicken ban is not unexpected. While I can't take the time to get away, I hope everyone who goes has a great time.

As long as they have access to shade and water, 80 degrees is well within chicken comfort range.

It was hot today here too, and will continue for this week. The flowers are great though, and smell terrific. Spent some time outside just enjoying it!
Moved the horses to their summer field, always scary, hoping they've had enough time to get used to eating that spring grass.
And the chickens are a lot happier without that extra cockerel, and six fewer hens. they went to the auction Saturday, sold well, and made some other people happy to have them.

News 8 posted that HPAI was found on a commercial farm in Muskegon today.

Then my girls are going to die with me,lol It is 83 and they are so hot. Put ice on their water because had not had time to go to town and get stuff. But will go to walmart and get lotsa watermelon and fruits. I was really hoping to meet you in June. Then I will have to go to the UP,lol

It is insanly hot again. Girls are panting and under the coop. The others are also ok but I put ice in their water. Hub is thinking of closing the whole thing and put an ac in there,lol He makes me laugh with his naive comments. The girls would probably say, yeah, why not, lol
