Happy belated birthday Randy!

Not doing well. My July 6th and 11th in AA was detrimental. But finally my new doc said I am a type 2 diabetic. She does not wants to give me morphine,lol insulin and I don't want it either because it will automatically make me gain dead weight. She did the out of formulary and got approved for Ozempic. Hope is not like the Jardiance. The medformin is not well assimilated in my body. Lots of vomiting and diarrhea. Will see.


Peeps are so big now. Lupita has done a really good job and I think she is done being too much of a mama because she laid an egg today and wants to be with the other girls. She got locked out of her coop tonight but I made her go in with the babies.


Itty-bitty is also growing. Can't wait to hear him crow,lol






And Pitbull, well, he is a stud. Handsome and polite and well behaved.



The juveniles, sussexes, are with the big girls but a constant fight at night. Sophia is the least in the pecking order but she wants them to know she is higher than them. Kids!

The buckeyes and brown leghorns are in their own little coop and run. I have let them out but go back in. I guess they are still scared of all the bigger ladies. They'll come around one day.

Another rainy day here in my neck of the woods. From drought to building an ark in one weeks time.
The plan for today was to put the LTD back together but it's too wet to work on her since I moved her out of the garage to make room for the new chicks. I need another garage or barn.
There is a car show tomorrow but the forecast is for more rain. I'm guessing the classic car cruise for tonight is canceled.

The rain is really coming down now. 1/4 inch in the last hour. I hope I don't lose power.

We had that same rain earlier today Raz, lasted about a half hour then done. We are still really low on the rain so it was welcome.

We're forecast for some more rain tonight, "possibly heavy at times," as they say.

I'm just so grateful that the drought is over. For now, anyway.

We've been in drought conditions for a couple of months, until the deluge Wednesday night! Rain expected tonight, also not a bad thing.

Mostly a washed out weekend so far. I didn't go to the car cruise or the show today. Actually haven't really done anything yesterday or today. Took care of the birds and that's been all. I need a double shot of motivation. I blame the side effects of the new heart med that the cardiologist put me on.
