Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

My chicks are 6 weeks and 4 days old. Our weather can't make up its mind (ah, Michigan), and I'm wondering when to move them outside, permanently. They've had several "day outings" on 60+ degree days - and they love it. I feel so bad, putting them back into their brooding bin, afterward. It's getting small for them, and it must be so boring.

While I hatched at least one Arkansas blue - speckled Sussex bantam mix last year, none of the blue eggs had any development. 13 of 15 for the bantam eggs though at 10 days.

They could have gone outside today, it was 67 even up here. But it's supposed to cool off and get damp, not very nice weather for babies.
They were out during the day. Very happy girls. Back to the brooder for the night. Yes, quite yucky out, today. April showers and all that. 2 weeks until planting time! 😀
