I would say wait until you can supervise what is going on.
Spread lots of treats all over the run/yard. Make sure there is water and food on both sides of the run/yard
If someone gets really rough then it is time to step in, otherwise sit back.

Mine were together for 3 days, night and day, until my BR roo cornered my EEs.
My EEs are still afraid of the others (even though the BR roos are gone)... Don't follow my example!

well I'm home all day, every day and work in the evenings.....usually 5pm-11pm or so, and I can supervise most of the time. the only boy I have is that marans cockeral, and of all the chickens, he's the easiest to catch.

I might just be at that stage. You get what you pay for i guess... I like the chunky soups and this time I got the cheap stuff... Never again!
I love making my own soup but I only get in the mood to do that when it is really cold... not that I am looking forward to cold weather

I only buy the canned if I'm not feeling well and I buy Campbell's Select. And I hear you on making our own. Since the rest of this week is supposed to be on the cool side there might be a crock pot soup day in there. Just love homemade. Nothing better!

I can't answer for byfm, but really rough to me is when you see blood start to fly. There will be some nips and stuff, but if it becomes a full on battle and one gets pinned, I step in.

eta- keep in mind the only time I've ever had to step in was when we brought in a new roo that couldn't stay at his previous home. I kept them separated and visible to each other, but the first few in-the-same yard intros didn't work out so well. They are better now and only have occasional tiffs. Newton is top roo and I think sometimes Neil forgets that.

Someone from Lovells called Laura's husband and there is confusion about us getting the pavillion in Lovells Saturday. Seems they think they can give it to someone else!! Raz, I am sorry to hear about your truck - transmission?

I think I have a bearing going bad on my Highlander - this will be the 4th one on that wheel. In the last year. In addition to the 2 windows that don't work, the low tire lite that is on all the time, the complete brake job at 28,000 miles due to faulty calipers, the 3 recalls, and did I mention it only has 72,000 miles on it? A big piece of Toyota junk.

Raz, I am sorry to hear about your truck - transmission?

I hope it is only the linkage within the clutch pedal.
I stepped on the clutch to upshift, something snapped and the pedal went to the floor.

Fortunately the transmission shop is right down the street and they are very good. It was the first time ever that my truck was on a wrecker.

Not too bad for a truck built in 1995.

My husband was over there at the Township office. I know I told you that they had people calling but that wasn't to rent the pavilion it was about the get together. They just wanted to know what was going on because they hadn't heard anything more.

I'm sorry for both of you, but I think I can trump that. My Jeep is in the shop. Threw a rod as a result of DH not putting oil in it while he was using it. Ouch, was the first thought. Found a good local shop, and should have gotten it back last weekend if everything went well.

Mechanic guys came over to the house. Seems that the year/model was made at a time when Chrysler was going thru some financial issues. The engines from this make/model don't even have replacement parts being made because there are too many issues with the engine overall. Our only alternative is to find a rebuilt or brand new engine to install. Brand new, out of the box is just too expensive. Nationwide, there is ONE rebuilt engine available. Seems everyone with this make model is replacing, so as soon as they are available, they are gone. Found a place who promises a back order available within 5-10 days. Best cost, just for the rebuilt engine alone, $2100. This doesn't include other parts, work already done, and labor.

Just goes to prove that when you don't think things can get worse, they really can.

I'm so happy they are going to have a good home!! It's really cool how they have matured and are taking care of their flock. One covers the front and the other is in the back. It's just amazing how they just know how to do thier job.
