Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

A rock wow, I bet he's glad it's out. One of our Boxers swallowed whole corn cobs, we didn't know it until a week later they came up. Disgusting!
Your rooster will get worse not better when he thinks he's the boss. I love my chickens and roosters but don't keep a bad one you'll end up hurt.

It makes me tired just reading about it! I'm glad it is a good thing!

Rainy, wet, cold yucky, but maybe it will be busy enough I won't notice.

Got a new job last week, well actually 2 part time jobs. They are both mostly in the mornings. One every Saturday morning at 2 am, and the other at every morning at 3 am. They are both dairy farms. I milk the cows there. They both are less than 5 miles away!!! Woot!!! Praise God!!!
Been very busy and a lot of catching up to do. I will post more updates when I get back home. Again Good morning everyone, and rise and shine lazy bones!!!!!

Congrats on the new jobs Farmer! We miss you!

LOVING my two serama cuties I picked up at Fowl Fest this morning and had to share. They are so sweet and use each other for a pillow in their temporary cat carrier home until we get back to Rockford tomorrow.

We visited Fowl Fest this morning. It was interesting. Didn't get to meet anybody because I didn't have a clue who anybody was but you know... some cool birds for sure. I agree on those orpingtons too. Those were awesome. And I've never seen a frizzle or a polish in person so that was neat. Still don't want one but it was neat to see.

I just went outside, and to my surprise my rooster was on my front porch! He doesn't want to go into his coop, apparently. Anyway, this is the first time he has ever refused to go into the coop? Has anyone else experienced this before and if so, what did you do?

Sweetpea, Is there another rooster in the coop that might be beating this rooster up? And this rooster does not want to get shut up at night with him?

How sweet are they?

The Cochins you gave me are all doing well, growing and blended in with my flock with ease!

I wonder if I Granny dies during the Tigers post season if I could get one of the lawyers that a constantly advertising of TV to sue the franchise. I thought she was going to have a heart attack when Valverde blew the 4 run lead. The old girl sure has gotten into watching baseball this year. She even makes sure she takes a nap on days that there are night games. I've offered to record the night games so she can watch them at a more convienent time but she claims knowing the game already has a final score makes it less enjoyable. How did that old song go "What ever Granny wants, Granny gets"?
