It's cold. And a pain. I've just spent more than 1 1-2 hours out in it taking care of horses, chickens, cars and walkways. My fingers and toes are so cold they hurt. Now eating breakfast pizza before doing a 10 hour shift at work, then home to repeat everything again.

I here ya. Just spent 7 hours in my car with the window down and the blower motor stuck on the lowest setting... Wish I had power windows...

In spite of the junk on the ground, today might be tolerable. After a pot of coffee and finishing the Boston Globe crossword I had a little nap on the couch. Second pot of coffee and the NYT puzzle is almost done.

Oh and the chickens are just fine.
