Just watched the weather report and Tuesday doesn't look like a very pleasant day.

Looks as though the new snowblower charm has worn off.

Where is everyone? Watching the news on the Lansing station this morning and the weather forecaster just said Tuesday's storm is going to be "doozy". I don't think I'll like tomorrow.

I saw it just now Opa. Maybe, I'll finally get to use my snowshoes.

I have to bring Doug to the airport today, he's headed back to Juarez, so thankfully, I won't have to be driving anywhere in it. We just got our new/old truck back, and took it out for a spin a few times this weekend. I know Doug is happy to have his truck back and in working order again.

Good Morning everyone-

NO SNOW NO SNOW I have to work all week- I dont want to drive in it, walk in it, see it!!!! *sigh* Darn Michigan weather. No doubt my dad will call to laugh at us. We rubbed it in when he got snow- and we had none here. He lives in Chattanooga. Not nearly as fun when Im the one getting laughed at.


Shelly, you plan on bringing any of those silkies to Chicken Stock? particularily a splash pullet?

Chickflick-
you have already done everything that we would do at work, if you brought her in- except for possibly an injection of calcium. Will she eat? You can also try crushing some cuttlebone for her, putting it near her. Good luck.

You all have a wonderful day- I was up too long last night. Til ONE this morning, actually. Up at four thirty. I feel rather comatose. Makes for a long day.

Here is a place to order Calci boost and a litte info on it. I was shocked at how quickly my egg bound canary laid her egg after a couple of drops in her beak. I have never had to use it on a chicken, but I do keep it on hand. A cheap, quick fix and fast shipping when I ordered.

I received a pigeon from a hawk attack on Friday- he was wounded too critically and didnt make it-I just got a call that there is another one waiting for me at work. This one seems to be much less damaged.
Wish him luck. I know hawks have to eat, too, I just hate when they involve me.

There is a young red tail that hangs around the neighborhood at my work. That is where this victim comes from. There is another one in my moms neighborhood that eats and regularly DROPS his food/remains in my moms backyard. Neither one are bothered by humans flailing their arms and yelling. They come down right in front of people and grab and go.
The one that drops by my house on occasion does not fear people or dogs much either. When it grabbed one of my rehabbing pigeons last year, the dogs and I were out in the yard.

Morning all! What is this I hear about a snowstorm coming in??

Say it's not so!!

I know nothing of Calci boost, but how about checking for it at pet stores, you might be able to pick it up today. It might be cheaper to order, but if you need it now, this would be quicker! Just an idea. Hope your little one makes it.

Guess I had better batten down the hatches tonight, ugh! This is getting old, REALLY FAST!!
