Good morning Everyone

Kim, I think I have met you before. Frankenmouth at the Chicken Festival. We talked about orphingtons and australorps. And how disappointed we both were that the breeders dumped their birds off and left because we wanted to talk to them.

If it is you.... Hi, how have you been. Hope to see you at Chickenstock

Thanks Boyd! I give the credit to my chicks, though...they all seem to love the camera.

I was trying to take some pics yesterday, and one of them ran up and put his beak right on the camera lens...so my pic just showed a big beak with eyes.

I probably should've posted that pic, too.

Well I am home with my sick boy. He has been home since Wednesday. Broncitis. Going back to the Dr. today cause the meds just aren't knocking it out. My cousins kids aren't here and here I am on the computer instead of cleaning the house. I should get busy.... but it's nice to just relax sometimes.

I could loan you our canine powered dust mop. She excells at getting dust bunnies.

Good Morning!

Waiting for the eggs to finish cooking, never got to it last night. Too tired!

Busy day today, school, ballet, and a 6th grade girl get together this evening. I am hoping that my hips will feel great by tonight

Opa- what breed is Granny's dog? Emily is wondering.

I just ordered an incubator. Now I can do some more hatching. Having mamma hen do it is great, but you can't always count on having a broody around. After cleaning the coop last weekend and locking all the chickens out of the coop to get it done, the broodys went on strike and said I am not sitting on eggs any more. I do think one of my seramas is starting to get broody though, she is sitting a lot and does the puff up and kinda growl at me when I check for eggs. They are so tiny though really how many eggs could she handle? I want to make sure I can have turkey poults hatching this spring. Can you imagine a serama sitting on a turkey egg. That would be funny.
