My not so little chicks are gonna spend their first night out in the coop tonight. Couldn't keep them in the brooder in the garage anymore because they are starting to jump up at the sides and I caught one on the edge of the brooder, ready to jump out and take off!
I'm also thinking my light brahma is really a dark brahma Because she has nearly all black feathers all over. I'm also thinking she might be a he, but we can wait and see if any crowing goes on.
Some have managed to figure out how to cluck so in between 'peeps' and 'chirps' I'll occasionally hear a 'cluck-cluck'.
