haha I know, it's still funny!
Everyone has adjusted very well. After the hens went around and snapped at everyone, they fell in love with Pretty Boy and keep following him. I don't know what it is with that boy. At night I've gone in the barn for something or to check on everyone and he's on the top rung of the roost surrounded by all the biggest hens while "his" woman is on the far end looking like she's about to be pushed off lol Guaranteed these new hens will be fighting for a spot next to him tonight as well!
Oh yeah, the Seramas and the wellies came from your place Vicki! lol
The bunnies have gotten a lot of attention today! I finally had to say (to myself mostly!) time to put them down and let them settle in. The little one has been looking sad ever since. As soon as we walk into the barn he runs up to the door of his room and nudges it. Aric put his foot down and said the rabbits won't be living in the house. Next thing I know I"m getting the evil eye because I happened to find myself sitting in the rocker on the porch with one. He said "I should have known it would be you breaking the rules first" LMAO!!
So here are a few pics of everyone settling in:
This is the partially finished hyatt for rabbits. Eventually the lower part will be another level on each side, but Aric made it so we could take the rabbits in now.
I found them all cuddled up together when we got home. They didn't want to separate either I don't think!
My daughter (20 in November) Angellica decided this is her bunny
This is Aric's daughter's bunny. She's 3 weeks older than my daughter
Broccoli straight out of the garden. I don't think we've had much out of that garden since we started all of this back in May lol
LOVING the new digs...and shortly after this she found Pretty Boy
They didn't wanna go out for a while! They found cushy spots and took a nap there!
So, thanks Vicki! Once again you made us happy customers
