Why is it that people feel they can just help themselves to my art work?
I have a friend I do custom line art for. She sells them in her shop and I get a cut inprofit. These are exclusives.
So today - HUGE day for the Cane Corso world, it is the very first time the CC had been to Westminster. Today's winning Dog is a nice CC, and so being the good sport and CC enthusiast I am, I went to their website to email my congratulations...... and I find they are using one of my drawings, slightly modified, but easily recognizible as mine, as their kennel LOGO! what! They wouldn't like it if I took a photo of their dog and used it to advertise my kennel... why do people feel it's ok to steal my art work? This is not the first time, and I'm sure not the last... but I guess I'll have to stop showing it to anyone... but, how can I make any extra money if I don't. Some people just ........
My work Modified junk
I have a letter ready to go to them, probably will send friday to give them time to celebrate..... I'm telling them to remove the logo, and considering their win, I'd be happy to work with them on a similar drawing of their own dog. But they'll have to pay for it... good thing for them I'm reasonable!
Thanks for letting me rant here.. I want to do it on FB... but I am connected to too many CC people! UGH! (I will use them to my advantage later on of course)!
