WHY!!!

Why is it that people feel they can just help themselves to my art work?

I have a friend I do custom line art for. She sells them in her shop and I get a cut inprofit. These are exclusives.

So today - HUGE day for the Cane Corso world, it is the very first time the CC had been to Westminster. Today's winning Dog is a nice CC, and so being the good sport and CC enthusiast I am, I went to their website to email my congratulations...... and I find they are using one of my drawings, slightly modified, but easily recognizible as mine, as their kennel LOGO! what! They wouldn't like it if I took a photo of their dog and used it to advertise my kennel... why do people feel it's ok to steal my art work? This is not the first time, and I'm sure not the last... but I guess I'll have to stop showing it to anyone... but, how can I make any extra money if I don't. Some people just ........

My work Modified junk

I have a letter ready to go to them, probably will send friday to give them time to celebrate..... I'm telling them to remove the logo, and considering their win, I'd be happy to work with them on a similar drawing of their own dog. But they'll have to pay for it... good thing for them I'm reasonable!

Thanks for letting me rant here.. I want to do it on FB... but I am connected to too many CC people! UGH! (I will use them to my advantage later on of course)!

My MIL shows Bloodhounds! Shows can be so political that sometimes it ruins it for others from just having FUN and to show people their best. I'm sorry people don't respect your work and are honest about using your stuff.

I show Bouviers, the boy who won BOB at Westminster last night is my boys brother

so happy for his breeder/ owners.
I find that to win as a owner handler I have to work twice as hard be twice as prepared and have a dog I absolutley believe can win. And a low cut shirt........<joking>.
I Love showing and working my dogs I plan on doing it till im to old to run around the ring:).

Just as with my MIL, I don't think anything will stop you from the sounds, not even old age. My MIL has all sorts of health problems, had 2 knee replacements and she still shows her dogs, not as much as she use to but she still shows. So where there is a will there is a way.

Congrats to your boys litter mate! It's just exciting for us cause it's the first time!

I've just had a ton of issues with this drawing showing up all over in one way or another. We've got a HUGE watermark covering the whole design now.. I deleted all my work off my face book, but not in my art studio page (below). I'm hoping to just do a website soon and remove the FB page.... from now on, nothing goes out without a block or watermark. Just disapointed in people today.

My daughter's English Spots are escape artists! Her rabbitry is named "Runaway Rabbitry" because they take off lol.

My English lops are content to stay in thier cages unless you actually put them on the ground...then they just want to nibble on whatever they can find. My Belgians...they vary...some take off and some are content to follow me around.

They probably had a blast!!!

I also have 2 other English Lops that I adopted from someone from Canada that belonged to a bunny board, LOL their names are Eeyore & Pippi, here they are!

Pippi

Eeyore
(he's a special needs EL, his previous owners dropped him, broke his pelvis and never did anything for him, he can get around but he's pretty screwed up in the back end if you noticed in the 2cd picture his back foot not being in the back but way up, his back legs splay when he is at rest, I'm amazed he isn't totally paralyzed, but OMG such a handsome boy and sweet as sweet can be! But, you know how attention seeking EL are! I absolutely LOVE his cheeks!!

And the two together, he LOVES to use Pippi as his pillow.
