Do any of you other fogeys remember the horse-drawn milk wagons? I was a horse-crazy 7-year old in Flint and the McDonalds and Sealtest dairies still used horses. I remember the horse knowing the route so well, the milkman didn't really have to drive, but he used a little half-spherical weight to "tie" the horse. This would have been about 1951-52.
