I do have two BCM pullets as well, but they are a month younger than the ISAs. It must be your PC because the egg is the same color as the brown eggs I buy from Kroger. But I will have those dark eggs one day!

must be my computer then- some pics it is very dark on- some not. But if it is store colored- NOT Maran!! Those are much darker than the store brown eggs!!!

Sunrise is still a ways off and already it's 73 degrees. That doesn't bode well for us having a day that is any where near comfortable. The heat index is going to be over 100 and there is no way possible that I will be able to avoid glowing at critical mass. Days like the one we have on tap make me wish that I had kept the swimming pool I use d to have.

Good morning Saddina, it sure is going to be a hot and humid day here today. Yesterday was extremely uncomfortable. If it wasn't for the lack of alligators I would have though I was in Louisianna.

I promised Boyd some homemade dim sum if he goes and fishes up some. Humidity is totally new. my house is at 20% most of the year, except the 5 days it rains. Out here hatching problems are almost entirely that the air pulls all humidity out of the bator when the heat cycles off. way I see it, I survived eating monkey in Singapore (note to self, if you can't read what kind of meat, order vegan) , I can survive boyds squirrel stew (I also made the mistake of saying i'd never had bolongna or spam, oh dear). Since the law office said 6 months on the short end till we're done, I ordered a fresh set of quail eggs, i'm working on perfecting a gouda stuffed, bacon wrapped and seared quail dish.

I have been enjoying this heat! I take refresher breaks to get my glow under control and then head back out. It is beautiful under the willows

Sidenote I have a shiney new fishing liscense, and no clue how to fish.

Seems in CA it's free if you're in a wheelchair, and if I have one, my son doesn't need one yet (free till 16, with an adult). Anyone wanna clue a girl in?

lol it will rain soon! With this heat we usually get evening thunder storms. Come on rain!!
