Married one of those "ballet" dancers. It was fun while it lasted. But it sure cost me in the end.
Still don't know where she hid all those dollar bills...

to all the newbies! Hope you enjoy your stay!

Well, Aric finally gave in and let me re-home the swedish drakes!! I told him there's nothing wrong with them but we have too many drakes and someone has to go!

I also put up the RIR roo and the five week old ducklings. I think two are cayugas and one is definitely a runner. They were hatched from the muskovy hen's eggs.

If anyone is interested, here are the ads. I'd take trades if anyone has something

Sorry Fife, I was not ignoring you. I haven't been on for a couple of days and then today I saw this and meant to reply and forgot

Anyway, I don't think they are hard to put on at all. I can do it by myself. Just slip one wing in at a time. I make mine from cotton with a lining of fusible interfacing inside to help make it more durable. I wash them whenever I take them off. Mine do not have any on right now because of the heat. I have one hen that looks like she has been plucked.

I wish I had a couple! I have a couple of hens that look like they have alopecia like I did in high school! Poor things!!
