I'm not liking this..the girls are already in the coop for the night and it's not even 8:00.
I find autumn to be so depressing!

Hey, if anyone in MI is interested, I put up a pair of araucanas in the 8+ weeks auction section. A purdy blue tufted pullet and an odd but handsome rumpless boy. I'm definitely willing to drive up to an hour away to deliver. But then again, I am pretty remote compared to the populous part of MI!

Fall is my favorite time of year, except for the part of trying to hurry and get things ready for winter

I have noticed a decline in the number of hummingbirds the past few days. I am only seeing a few males now so they must be heading south already.

LOL, this is funny, makes you scratch your head type of thing...

I got home from work, and Buffy Petunia was in the nexting box and Mr. Fluffers was standing guard. I had went out to call them all to come for a mealworm treat... Well anyway, I left the worms and went back in the house. I later sent my 5yr old out to get her egg, he loves to get the eggs... But he never came back with it! I went out later to cut a vent hole in the coop and get the egg... No egg... I asked Jace where it was... Get this... HE BURIED IT NEXT TO ROSEY!!! Yeah. HUH? He said he buried it cuz it had a bit of poo on it and he thought it was bad because of that! LOL. Isn't that funny. I told him to go dig it up and bring it to me... Just had to share that. LOL

Well, I Googled organismal behavior and still don't know what it is, but nothing dirty came up.

Nova - I am always amazed at how children's minds work. Priceless.
I also saw Saddina on another thread and told her we missed her here but she never replied. Oh well, guess she got tired of us.
