I don't know... but maybe you could print off some material and give it to him next time as a friendly helper as to the advice that he is giving to folks. You're not the first or the last to make that mistake... but luckily here at the BYC you can find all the info you need

Welcome Paul & Kristin and anyone else I missed!

I live in Eaton Rapids, between Lansing and Jackson. I also have a hobby farm, see below for a list of our critters. My husband and I have 4 children, 19, 17, 8 & 4. Two boys, two girls, two biological, 2 adopted, two big kids, 2 little kids, hence the 2x2 after my name! I am also the small animal leader for our 4-H club.

Hello fellow Wolverines!

I am in Allenton, MI which is about six miles south of I-69 between Port Huron and Flint. I did see someone located in Capac, that is just north of me!

My 80 chicks arrive next week, can't wait!

Hello Everyone,

I am very happy to have found this forum.... I have had indoor birds (canaries and a cockatiel) and am about to try my hand with a couple of hens. I am very excited and a little bit nervous. I am picking up my Isa Brown hens in the morning. I live in the Jerome, Michigan area.

Welcome to all the newbies.

I got my 50# bag of DE/fossil shell flour today for $35. Food codex, all looks good. Jenny at Hicks Dairy can get it for you and like I said she has some delivery places around South East Michigan. In case there is still interest.

For anyone interested. I just hatched out some chicks, I am hoping to get $3 each. The parent roosters are a rir and a barred cochin, the parent hens are barred rocks and white rocks. There are some really cute chicks. I will try to post better pictures tomorrow.
