I can't believe all the sun we got today! As Novembers go, this has been a very sunny one. Winter can wait as long as it like to arrive, IMHO.

So I have completely given up on my BOs ever laying and I thought it would be spring before I see more than one egg in the nesting box. Lazy, good for nothing, golden girls!

My daughter told me today that little Cadbury, my EE, is squatting for her! Maybe I'll have a pretty blue or green egg to go with my brown one. She's so tiny I wasn't even thinking of her laying but she's going on 25 weeks so I guess it could be time. Now I'm eggcited again!

Guess what that is?! My first egg! Finally! Been waiting for it! And I know who it is out of. I found it when I went to water the girls earlier in the evening. So the girl who was singing the egg song didn't lie, she just had to get around to actually laying the egg after singing!

It weighed exactly 50 grams

I don't know who keeps laying these extra large eggs but this is the 5th egg like this. This one weighs 3 & 1/4 ozs. Ouch!
