Oh, you could just have them if I could catch them. I'll look into the coop tonight and see if either of them is in there and let you know. There are two out there. I KNOW one roosts in the tree up front. She's already roosted for the night, as a matter of fact, I can see her from where I'm sitting. The other one might have found the coop by now though. I'll look. I should warn that they lay a slightly drabber green egg than most EEs as they are technically light OEs. They are out of BA hens by an EE roo. They do lay green eggs though, they're just a little darker than the usual EE green. They were born last winter, Jan or Feb, if I remember correctly so are almost a year old. If the other one hasn't found the coop yet maybe they will both be motivated to find it once the weather gets worse and I could let you know then. I'm a little less than an hour north of Lansing. A little west, but not much.

Dang it....that is a good 2 hours for me..... Thanks for the offer though.

Last year after the first snow, I opened the hoop run which was completely covered. The chickens started to dash out like normal but literally skidded to a stop and looked at me like "what in the heck is this and how dare you put it there!"

Chickmate.....they are 3/Buff Orps, 4/Isas, 3/Black Somethings which I've been told are Black Sex Links, a Golden Sebright Roo and my little OE bantam hen (that was what I was told she was)...sweetest little thing & protector of every one's eggs. She has only given us about 6-7 eggs total. She must figure why waste the time /effort when I'll just sit on everyone else's!!
I'll try to find a good pic of her and maybe you guys can tell me for sure what she exactly is.

So funny tonight. Sachi, my little Chinese Crested who roosts with the chickens came strolling out of the coop with a little blue egg in his mouth. I called him and he came over and gave it to me ever so gently. Then I dropped it.

That makes a total of 4 eggs I've dropped in as many days. Arthritis sucks.
