Chickmate -- That is so funny. My schnauzer fetches eggs. Especially in the spring when we go on turkey nest hunts. Once we find one she beats me to it every day and brings me back the egg. She hasn't broke one even once.
Well I got the roofing done. I went with the white instead of the clear. Was 20 for the clear but 14 for the white. So atleast light will still come thru. The girls were at a total loss as to what was going on. Vanna, one of my glw, game flying up where I was to get away from Oscar, Oscar came up after her and I shoved him off. Lol. She was chattering at me like she was relieved. Lol. He looked back up at me like I ruined his fun.
Chickens are great! I hope to get the sides done tomorrow before the ducks come. They were supposed to come yesterday but I was to sick. Then they didn't come today cuz Susie was in Grand Rapids for church stuff.
typing on a touch pad is a pain in the butt but Jace has my computer for his jumpstart game..
Alright, I'll offer him up again before I'm forced -- forced I tell you! -- to make Kosher Proscuitto...

Buddy The Big Duck thinks he's a goose; gets along with chickens, turkeys, other ducks, geese, cows and alpacas that we know of. He is docile and respectful of humans, but is not afraid to protect his ladies from threats -- you know, like a playful Schnauzer.
I'm offering him up because he's the only duck we have and there's just really no good reason for me to be feeding a duck for no reason all winter long. That and he's claimed a couple of my female geese as his own and isn't afraid to challenge the ganders to retain them and I need those geese bred and in production come the spring breeding season. I can eat him, but I'm being lazy and would prefer not to have to butcher and pluck a duck right now. LOL!

I tend to stick em in my bra between my you-know-whats, and forget about them. I find them several hours later. I wonder if I could incubate eggs?? If I just turned them everyday????

I remember a thread earlier this summer where someone hatched a chick in their bra since something went wrong with the incubator during hatch or something. I believe the chick was named "Boober"
