Can't find that picture now for the life of me. Was browsing so many folders, I think I may have saved the original as the re-sized avatar and after trying to enlarge it, the resolution stinks. If I come across it, I'll definitely put it up HERE. I just found so many great pictures and memories that are making me smile.

I remember getting up at this time when I was farming to see if any cows had calved or sows had farrowed. I'd put all my chore clothes on, boots, gloves, etc. take a flashlight and of to the farrowing house or calving lot. Might need to scare off a coyote or two and once upon a time there was a black bear looking for a easy meal.

What a change, now I wake up, walk into the office flip on a light, check that all is alright and log on with my chicken friends. ( whom are all sleeping )

I look on GRAR every day for new home listings. My DH has his heart set on the Caledonia area, and I want room for chickens and geese. The two requirements do not currently meet in a price range we can afford with a house I would want to live in.

I keep hemming and hawing over just buying a cheap chunk of land and having a house built.
