Hm, wonder what school district that is in... One has to be careful out there (I grew up in that area, so I know). Some of the schools in the Saginaw area are not very safe.

I look on GRAR every day for new home listings. My DH has his heart set on the Caledonia area, and I want room for chickens and geese. The two requirements do not currently meet in a price range we can afford with a house I would want to live in.

I keep hemming and hawing over just buying a cheap chunk of land and having a house built.

Woops, that was Hoobly, not Craigslist... think I wrote the wrong thing down. I know what you mean, but, you never know. In this economy it could have potential for someone who wants a hobby farm...

Hey Opa...ever watch "How It's Made" or "How Do They Do That?"? I love both of those shows...it's very interesting how things are made.

Most of the time the television is on History Channel or the Food Network. I love watching shows where you can learn something or be reminded of things you've forgotten.

You wrote right I was talking about one on craigeslist

This morning my daily visitors were starting to strut. If the tom's minds are no longer totally on food can Spring be very far off?

Hey everyone-
I see you have been chatty as usual! I don't have time to go back and read all the posts so I hope I didn't miss much!

Got some house work done this morning and now we are off to get DD haircut. She is donating it to Locks of Love again! This is her second time, I will post pics later. Happy Saturday!

Opa- That pic is great! Your right if they are strutin' it must be spring!

Here's a better picture. It's 8x8 and of course it's too small. I wound up building a 4x6 that is behind this coop. Then I built an isolation coop and pen, a tractor and now I'm starting on another coop just for banties.

Good morning all!

Opa- do you live very far down Chilson Rd from Grand River? I have a friend that lives on Chilson and she was just talking about a big flock of turkeys in an opening before the church.

Just about time to go and pick the girls up from their sleepover. And I am procrastinating on going and doing chicken chores outside. The ones in the garage are easy:)

Last time I tell Jude she is wanted in the Michigan forum.

I come in from doing chores and she is tee hee'ing.

Man it got cold, news last night said yesterday reached 51 degrees in Lansing.

Nice coop Opa, I love the design.
