First year of keeping chickens and the tally is,
6 hens, 37 weeks old,
286 eggs over 109 laying days. (Broil was responsible for 107 eggs herself).

New count starts tomorrow. Happy New Year, ya'll.

Kind of sad when you think of it. I took some green eggs to school and many of these collge kids still wouldn't believe it. They thought it was a fake.

When I tell anyone that I'm getting more green eggs right now than brown, they laugh and make a joke about green eggs and ham.

Yes, I have the green eggs and, yes, I have the 600lb ham. HA ha.
