Hi everyone!! Haven't been on since yesterday - wow!! what a bunch to catch up on. Kinda warm here - right now its 31 degrees. The flock was outside all day; they were pretty happy!! I haven't ddone any thing special - just work, work, work. pretty boring actually. My DD placed 1st in her Forensic match. Not bad for her first year.

We took 5 chicks to Jack's preschool. The morning class is a wild bunch! Couldn't do took much the kids were all grabbing for the chicks. The afternoon class was completely opposite! I got to let them on the floor so the kids could watch them. They peaked and flapped their wings and ran around.
Got to show them 5 diiferent colors, 3 different leg colors and one with feathers on her legs. Hard boiled some eggs to show too.

Off to put the finishing touches on dinner.

Hi Again!!!
Busy making chicken dinner and thought I would stop back in and see how everyone is doing.
All the cats are busy running all over the house. Must be it is play time for them again. They sure can keep a person awake at night. Sounds like a herd of elephants when they get going. So much for quiet as a cat!!!
MJ what big town are you closest to? Maybe one of these days when we are out and about we could stop in? Show my fella what chicken lovers are about. He just doesn't understand how I could like a chicken!

Does anyone like birdwatching?? I was just watching a pileated woodpecker out on the suet. All the other smaller woodies were bugging him to leave so that they cold eat. I probably have 6 little ones out here. Up in the branches of the trees, I've got a ton of doves, chickadees, finches, and a blue jay. I did see the cardinal earlier. I love watching them as much as my chickens. At least, I can stay nice and warm watching the wild birds.

Boy y'all talk too much! took me 10 minutes to go threw everything!, MJ those cookie look yummy, but I bet not as good as my moosetracks ice cream, this one has double choclate, glad I didnt give this up for lent!

Oooh! I just had that last night!. I have never seen mint icecream that wasnt colored so when I opened it I was like "Whhhaaat?..." and re read the thing and made sure it said mint and not vanilla LOL.
