Ok, got the ducks moved to a new grass filled area, which I do not expect to last out the week. I know I can not plant anything there right now, or can I? If I got seed and raked it in and then covered with straw for the rest of the winter, would it grow in the spring considering the area is fertilized already by the poo de duc? Or, should I just dump a butt load of leaves over the area for now and plant in spring... I just do not want a continuous mud pit to deal with till spring if or winter continues as it is...

Frost seeding, especially with pasture mixes, is a very effective way to get a good cover provided it's not in an area that the spring run off will wash it away.

So now i'm wondering, if they eat it, and i eat the eggs, does that mean i have enhanced eggs? Just think, pain relief in your daily egg!
