Sorry to hear that you are not feeling well Steve. Hope you get better soon.
Can anyone tell me if chickens can eat saurkraut? I have a bunch that no one wants to eat so I figured I would make it chicken food. Want to make sure it is alright for them.
Let me know. Myrna

Wow - I couldn't believe how many posts there were when I opened this up today.

Good job ladies, and Sam too. I knew we were chatty, but that is quite some accomplishment. Sorry I couldn't help out. This week is very busy as we are leaving for Mexico this Saturday!!

Sorry Bluedog I'm meant to respond but old people get easily distracted and forget what we were doing. Now who did you say you were?

I always love swapping recipes.

Here is the Serama cockerel and Dutch/Serama pullet that I picked from Keleka yesterday. They are really laid back, beautiful birds!

The cage is a 24 inch long flight cage, Derek, so they should have plenty of room till they can go outside.

Ok it took over a half an hour to read the posts!

Way to go!!!!!

Myrna- I dump everything out for the chickens. They pick through what they like. I have never done sauerkart. I have a spot outside the pen and when I let them out in the afternoon they run over to it and have a blast.

Cute chicks Cat

My Dominique roo came at one of my sweet little cowgirls today(she is only 2). I kicked him clear across the yard and he came right up again and jumped at her. I gave him another even harder kick and he stayed where he landed. I am hoping he is just testing the shorter people to find out about them. I won't be taking any chances, if he keeps it up he will be finding a new home. To bad too because he is so pretty and he has a great crow.
