Well I just found out that I can't multi task very well. I just received and message from Nextel that I have exceeded the allowable attempts to log in and now must wait 20 minutes before trying again. when you're good you're good and when you're not you're.........locked out.

Been there, maybe a little too much multi tasking today huh?
To bad the house chicken is making Granny cough, good thing you were going to move her out anyway.

MJ can I ask what kind of turkeys you have. I am looking at getting some broad breasted bronze and am wondering if any one tried them and if they have any advice. Thanks

Also was wondering where you got your cornish that was wondering all over the yard last year. Thanks

of course you can! i have Bourbons and Slates. they are wonderful!

are you looking for fast growing Bronze, or heritage Bronze?

heritage breeds beat out fast growers every time in taste tests.

the cornish X that chased me around were from Mt. Healthy.

you are more than welcome! i hope to incubate some heritage Bronze in a few weeks! more turkeys! yowza!

I took the kids for a walk...boy the wind is still cold. Stayed out probably 15 minutes. Now the boys are napping!

I am off to make dinner. I got the recipe out of a cookbook, Pillsbury I think. It was at the check out at Wal-mart. one side is beef and the other side is chicken recipes...The 2 things I have a lot of:)

Chickens are having a field day too!

Oh yea...

We are looking to sell a LF Amercauna rooster. I believe he is a Wheaton color (daughter knows but not in house)

If we sell him than I can rearrange and put the bantams in with the rest of the Ameraucanas and move the week old chicks into their pen. Rearranging...to make more room for CHICKENS!

PM if interested

Hi All!!!
Chickens seem to always want to eat about everything, I just wasn't sure about saurkraut. I know they love any kind of pasta!! Great way to use up all the macaroni and speghetti that I always make too much of. They sure are enjoying the day and running around all over.

Changed the paper under the silkie mom and she is so gentle. We can pick up her and her babies and she is not concerned. Now if the cats get too close, that is another story.

Bye for now! Thanks for the help. Myrna

Gloria! howdy chickah! today is hatching day! i can't tell if any of the Buff Orps are pipped, because they are in the back, but there are pips on the Bantam eggs, so something is happening!

i'll keep you posted on your lovely grand-chickies!

Hey girlfriend! I know I've been staying close to the phone so if you called I would be here. I was going to give you until 7:30 and then I was going to call you.

I'm trying to wait quietly like a good Nanna!
